On April 30, 2003, the B.C. Legislature set up a special committee of the House on the Citizens’ Assembly on Electoral Reform.

The committee’s terms of reference authorized it to review Assembly staff appointments, and to receive reports from the Assembly chair on the progress of the Assembly’s work.
