Cathy Stooshnov

Over the last 12 years, Cathy has acted as an Administrator with
several major commissions of inquiry in British Columbia, including
the Royal Commission on Health Care and Costs; the Gove Inquiry
into Child Protection; the Inquiry into Policing in British
Columbia; the Royal Commission on Workers' Compensation in BC; and,
most recently, the Smith Commission of Inquiry into the regulation
of charitable gaming and societies.
Cathy has been involved in all aspects of project and event
management from start-up to wind-down. She is experienced in
budgeting, staffing, setting administrative policies and
procedures, contract management, coordination of hearings and
special events, travel logistics and media liaison.
She has also assisted the province’s Administrative
Justice Project, the B.C. Human Rights Commission and several
private-sector companies.
Cathy’s past volunteer activities have included
serving on the national board of directors for the Canadian Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation and participating as a member of UNICEF's
information/media relations committee.
