What kind of response did you receive to the letters of invitation?

We received many enthusiastic responses. And many others expressed how much they would like to participate but simply couldn’t because of other commitments.

We were impressed with the number of public-spirited British Columbians who were willing to take on such a significant volunteer commitment. Hundreds of people from communities throughout B.C. were eager to commit their time in 2004 to serving their province.
