news broadcast and viewer phone-in on Channel M Interactive, for
the Lower Mainland's Mandarin-speaking Chinese community. It takes
place on Saturday, April 24, at 8:30pm. Channel M, the
multicultural TV station, is on cable 8 in the Lower Mainland.

Rim Jhim. Starting at 3:30pm, the show will last 30 minutes,
most of it in Punjabi. You can get Rim Jhim via cable in some
communities, or with an SCA-radio decoder. Rim Jhim has 20,000
household subscribers in the Lower Mainland alone.

Dr. Ken Carty, an expert on world electoral systems and director
of research for the Citizens' Assembly, appears on the
Rafe
Mair show on 600AM radio, Vancouver. The segment starts at
10:04 a.m. and runs until 10:30. Dr. Carty
was the leader of the Assembly members "Learning Phase" in
January-March, during which they studied electoral systems from
numerous countries.
