Assembly chair Jack Blaney addresses the Union of B.C.
Municipalities convention, 8:30 a.m. - 9 a.m., at Prospera Place,
1223 Water Street (at Cawston Avenue) in downtown Kelowna. The
session is open to registered observers and delegates. (Details at
http://www.civicnet.bc.ca). Also open to the media.
Jack Blaney on radio13-SEP-2004 -
Citizens' Assembly chair Jack Blaney is a guest on the Rafe Mair
radio show on AM600. Vancouver. Jack is scheduled to be on the air,
live, from 9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. Pacific.

Ken Carty addresses IPAC30-AUG-2004 -
Ken Carty, the Assembly's
director of research, will be keynote luncheon speaker at the
national conference in Vancouver of the Institute of Public
Administration of Canada. Noon, at the Hyatt Regency
Hotel, 655 Burrard in downtown Vancouver. Open to conference
delegates and any members of the public who register for the
conference via http://www.ipac.ca/2004/index.html. (However,
individual tickets are not available for the lunch.)
Ken Carty on TV12-JUL-2004 -
Ken Carty, the Assembly's director of research
(and a renowned expert on electoral systems), appears on Art
Jones & Company on Shaw TV in the Lower Mainland. The
30-minute show is scheduled for 12:30 a.m. this morning and again
at 10 a.m. Both are rebroadcasts of the show that first ran the
night of Tuesday July 6.

appears on Art Jones & Company on Shaw TV in the Lower
Mainland. The 30-minute show is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. tonight,
Tuesday July 6.
Special meeting of Assembly (Day Two)27-JUN-2004 -
Following 50 public hearings held throughout the
province in May and June, members of the Assembly wrap up a weekend
of meetings to review and discuss what they heard from
British Columbians in the hearings. Open to the public;
at the Prince George Civic Centre.
