Citizens' Assembly members multilingual

Members of BC's Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform will talk to (and chat with) non-English-speaking audiences in a series of Channel M television broadcasts on the weekend of April 24-25.

  • Saturday April 24, Assembly members Angela Hsu and Jack Zhang appear on an hour-long live broadcast and viewer phone-in on Channel M Interactive, for the Lower Mainland's Mandarin-speaking Chinese community. It begins at 8:30pm PDT.
  • On Sunday April 25, Zhang and fellow Assembly member Fred Shum do the same for the Cantonese-speaking Chinese community. That live show takes place on at 8pm PDT.
  • Later on Sunday April 25, at 9:30pm, Assembly members Manjit Dhaliwal, Shawn Rai and Dal Sidhu Appear live on Channel M Interactive, with the show mostly in Punjabi.
Channel M, Vancouver's multicultural TV station, is on cable channel 8 in the Lower Mainland.
