Abstract
I would like to be able to vote for a candidate that I like, as well as, be able to vote for a party [MMP]. These rwo may be different, that is, the candidate I want may not represent the party I want. [1 page]

Submission Content
I want to free my vote -- I want electoral change.  I don’t want to feel that I have to vote strategically, that is, vote for a party I don’t really want in order to oppose a party I definitely don’t want to represent me.

I want my vote to count even if I vote for a party that doesn’t represent the majority of the voters of B.C.

I want a fairer representation in the province of the overall by the proportion of the population. That votes for that party. ie: the NDP have only 2 seats when they had 22% of the vote. And the Green Party had no seats while they had 12% of the vote. And I know that here on Quadra Island, the majority of the votes in the last provincial election were for the Green Party. We got NO representation.

I would like to be able to vote for a candidate that I like, as well as, be able to vote for a party [MMP]. These two may be different, that is, the candidate I want may not represent the party I want.
