It is important to me that the number of seats in the
legislature reflects the way votes are cast. I have not studied the
various methods of structuring proportional representation but
would favour one that best allows for representation of the full
diversity of the people and therefore actully gives a voice to
persons in minority. Currently only those who are a significant
mass can feel represented, and all others become disenfranchised. I
believe that in the long run there would be an increase in the
ability of the politians to consider all of the citizens and come
to creative solutions to problems and am willing to live with the
transition period of disarray until they learn that cooperation is
a better life choice than disrespect and antagonism.
