Certainly there are drawbacks in any system we might choose. But in my study of several of the better-known voting systems, it seems that an MMP system is the fairest and perhaps the clearest to understand. [1 page]

This is to state my strong preference for a Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) electoral system in BC.

Certainly there are drawbacks in any system we might choose. But in my study of several of the better-known voting systems, it seems that an MMP system is the most fair and perhaps the clearest to understand. The major concern is that it be fair, and MMP will clearly be fairer and more just than the present first past the post.
