I believe in proportional representation [PR]. It makes sense for the people of BC, with our wide variety of opinions and desires, for us to adopt a system that will finally reflect the views of all the citizens of BC. [1 page]

I am a firm believer in proportional representation [PR]. It makes the most sense for the people of BC, with our plurality and our wide-range of opinions and desires, that we are in dire need of a system that will finally reflect the views of all the citizens of BC. I am sick and tired of voting against someone, feeling that my vote doesn't count and watching the legislature fill up with candidates who represent, at best, only 50% of the entire province. Pro-rep has been proven to be an effective system around the world. BC needs to make the change and move towards pro-rep and a healthy democracy. Majority does not rule.
