I am in favour of Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) representation for our Province. The Single Transferable Vote (STV) system is too complicated and has many more drawbacks than the MMP system. [1 page]

I am in favour of Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) representation for our Province. The Single Transferable Vote (STV) system is too complicated and has many more drawbacks than the MMP system. While STV may look better in theory or on paper, it is a system which does not serve the public interest as well as MMP can. MMP is the only system which guarantees representation. It doesn't matter that larger riding sizes may be necessary to accomplish this.
