Submission Content
I would like to see Canadians use the mixed member proportional [MMP] representation system. I believe it represents most closely the people's election vote. Seeing that their vote actually counts (as opposed to the political results detached from real election results we have now or under the single transferable vote system) should motivate people to become more engaged in the political process once again. It is sad, how little do Canadians in general care about politics because "my opinion really doesn't matter". Compare that to the lively political debates even amongst teenagers in Europe were I grew up. I really miss the societal engagement of people in Canada.
