Abstract

For years I have been increasingly frustrated with our current
system of electoral democracy, but as I learn more about
proportional representation (MMP), I am gaining hope that there is

For years I have been increasingly frustrated with our current
system of electoral democracy, but as I learn more about
proportional representation (MMP), I am gaining hope that there is
a better way. Proportional representation seems to be less
confrontational, gives a significant voice to smaller parties, and
allows for more women to participate.
