I support change to MMP.  One-half of the members should be elected in constituency races and the remaining one half should be elected from party lists.  A 5% threshold for a party to get seats should be included. [1 page]

I support change to a mixed proportional system where each voter is given two votes one for a constituency representative and one for a party list [MMP].  One-half of the members should be elected in constituency races and the remaining one half should be elected from party lists.  A 5% threshold to get seats should be included.

With this improved system elections would better reflect the wishes of most voters, and a higher percentage of those eligible would cast votes.
