Abstract
My choice for reform is some kind of modified proportional representation [PR]. This system should make all votes count, but must contain a safeguard that an election would not result in a legislature of a dozen splinter parties. [1 page]

I am not prepared to make an official representation at a hearing. However, my choice for reform would be some kind of modified proportional representation. This system should make all votes count, but must contain a safeguard that an election would NOT result in a legislature of a dozen splinter parties. Some time ago I heard about such a proposal on CBC radio; however, I did not catch the finer points regarding how it was done. Good luck on your final tour and deliberations.
