We need fair voting and the only way to do that is through MMP,
not this crazy first past the post. No wonder the younger
generation do not want to vote. Mixed member proportional is fair
in terms of proportional representation. A party gets a share of
seats in the legislature proportional to its share of province-wide
vote.
We need it because it retains local representation, which many
British Columbians want.
Do it, otherwise less and less young people will have the impetus
to vote because they will feel that there vote has not
counted. I feel like that
already, but keep hoping things will change. Most young people
already feel disenfranchised.
