Abstract
|
The MMP system, not the STV system, allows for a more democratic
and simplified electoral process, one which I think would be much
more beneficial to the citizens of BC. [1 page]

I am a proud British Columbian who is temporarily living away in
another Canadian Province. I feel compelled to urge the Assembly to
support the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) electoral system. This
system (MMP) , not the STV system, allows for a more democratic and
simplified electoral process, one which I think would be much more
beneficial to the citizens of B.C. Additionally, I am extremely
disappointed that the majority of the final presentations which
were selected to be given to the Assembly are in support of the STV
system. I feel that these presenters do not fully represent general
public opinion.
