I believe proportional representation, in whatever form is deemed most effective, is the best way to engage thousands of disenfranchised youth and other voters. Many people have stopped voting because their vote is not reflected in the outcome of our elections. This can only endanger democracy, and leave it in the hands of a few instead of the treasure of us all. Coalition governments may not be efficient or quick, but they are the frequent by-product of the voters' will. They force us to work together, so perhaps that is a lesson we have waited far too long to learn.
