Abstract
I prefer an MMP system with one-half of the MLAs elected in districts and the remaining seats elected from party lists according to the number of votes obtained by each party. [1 page]

Submission Content
I prefer the mixed system of 50% of the legislature elected in individual districts and the other 50% from a party list system [MMP]. The number of districts should equal one-half of the number of seats in the legislature. In this way one-half of the MLAs are elected in districts and the remaining seats are elected from party lists according to the number of votes obtained by each party.

I think it is important to have members elected in the districts in order that they can bring up local issues. At the same time the political parties must be represented proportionally to the number of votes they receive, as far as possible.

Thank you for the opportunity. These are complex issues and I hope that what I have said makes some sense.
