Submission Content
I am in favour of the MMP model (similar to New Zealand).  I want to be able to vote for a local candidate and for a party and I think it is vital to have equal seats for equal votes.  I was part of the 12% who voted for the Green Party in the 2001 election and I want that number of seats to represent the ideas of the Greens.  Minority governements are not necessarily poor governments.  They require compromise and negotiation all of which is good unlike our present government in Victoria where no compromise is required by the ruling party who don't represent me or a large portion of the people of this province.
