I don't vote. I've never voted. I may never vote. Pretty bold
statement in a democratic society, eh?
Don't get me wrong; given an election system that might come
close to providing a government that represents the population
would have me voting till the cows come home but that's just not
the case. I have no interest in joining the vast number of votes
that vanish into thin air because I choose not to vote for the
current popular choice.'
I would like to see the Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform
support a mixed member proportional representation (MMP) as the way
in which my vote could get the value it deserves.
