I believe the MMP gives the best representation for your vote.
Often there is a conflict between the candidate a person wants to
vote for as best for the job, and the political party a
person identifies with. With MMP, this conflict would be removed.
Too often, when voting, the lesser of two evils is chosen. MMP is a
positive solution. I prefer the New Zealand MMP model. It seems to
be working well for them, with the added bonus of more woman
participating in a more co-operative process, and there is a much
greater voter participation and turnout. I know there are other
models to choose from, however the MMP is proven to work. I
understand that the MMP voting system in BC can also
work for the 79 electoral seats we have already established. Thank
you for the opportunity to participate in this wonderful democratic
process.
