Abstract
I have often wished that I could sumbit one vote for my preferred party and one vote for my preferred riding candidate. The MMP system permits this and is fairly easy to understand, especially compared to the STV systems. [1 page]

Submission Content
I would really like to see BC explore the possiblily of implementing a Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) system like the one they have adopted in New Zealand. I have often wished that I could sumbit one vote for my preferred party and one vote for my preferred riding candidate. The MMP system is fairly easy to understand, especially compared to the STV systems. I think that the complexity of the system should be a serious consideration as complex systems may attract less voters than a system that voters can understand easily.
