Abstract
If we have to have proportional representation [PR] of some kind, then no more than 10 seats should be chosen to be allocated proportionally; 5 for the area west of Hope, and 5 for the part of BC that lies beyond Hope. [1 page]

Submission Content
The problem with proportional representation [PR} is that these representatives do not answer to the public, but to their party.  They have no riding to hold them accountable.  Their purpose will be to advance the party agenda, not the agenda of any particular riding.

There is the additional danger that the Lower Mainland region will get a larger portion of any proportional representatives due to the larger population in that area.

If we have to have proportional representation of some kind, then no more than 10 seats should be chosen to be allocated proportionally; 5 for the area west of Hope, and 5 for the part of BC that lies beyond Hope.

Voters would have a second ballot as which party they would like their proportional representatives to come from.
