The problem with our current system is that a party could get
40% of the popular vote accross the province, and still not get a
single seat. Thus, that 40% of the population would be
unrepresented. I support a system more simple than the PR systems I see set out
here. A number of seats should be set aside to represent
the voiceless voters, and a party with less seats than their
percentage of the vote will get those seats.  There is
no fairness in representative democracy if a large portion of the
population is not represented; it is not democratic.
