Abstract
I support a system more simple than the PR systems I see set out here. A number of seats should be set aside to represent the voiceless voters, and a party with less seats than their percentage of the vote should get those seats. [1 page]

Submission Content
The problem with our current system is that a party could get 40% of the popular vote accross the province, and still not get a single seat. Thus, that 40% of the population would be unrepresented.

I support a system more simple than the PR systems I see set out here. A number of seats should be set aside to represent the voiceless voters, and a party with less seats than their percentage of the vote will get those seats.  There is no fairness in representative democracy if a large portion of the population is not represented; it is not democratic.
