Abstract

I strongly support Mixed Member Proportional voting for
BC. This is preferable to other systems, including
single transferable vote [STV]. MMP is clear, fair and actualizes
democracy more than the current or other possible systems. [1

I strongly support Mixed Member Proportional voting for BC. As a
canvasser last year for Pro-Rep campaign, many people were in favor
of this idea. It especially was of interest to young people, who
otherwise said they didn't bother to vote. This is preferable to
other systems, including single transferable vote [STV]. MMP is
clearer, fair and actualizes democracy more than the current or
other possible systems.
