Submission Content
Perhaps the system could be completely changed by eliminating political parties.

Each riding would elect 1 person from a slate of 6 or 10 who are each nominated by five or ten citizens. Then those who are elected (the Legislative Assembly) would name their own leader (premier), ministers and committee chairs. Everyone would be there in the best interest of the province with input from their own constituents and with none of the concern of following party lines. It works for town councils and school board councils but this would be on a much larger scale.
