Submission Content
Having made a previous presentation to the Assembly in person on May 15, I wish to reinforce the Council's view that the fairest option is MMP since it balances pro rep with regional representation and, more than any other system, provides the greatest likelihood that each vote will find representation in the legislature. STV, on the other hand, is not balanced and is extremely compicated to administer. In a similar process to that of the Assembly which took place in New Zealand, STV was rejected in favour of MMP which was chosen by 70% of voters. In B.C. as well some 70% of submissions have favoured MMP. Here is your chance to forever change the political landscape in our beloved province by clearly selecting MMP for the referendum question.
