I wish to reinforce the Council's view that the fairest option
is MMP since it balances pro rep with regional representation and
provides the greatest likelihood that each vote will find

Having made a previous presentation to the Assembly in person on
May 15, I wish to reinforce the Council's view that the fairest
option is MMP since it balances pro rep with regional
representation and, more than any other system, provides the
greatest likelihood that each vote will find representation in the
legislature. STV, on the other hand, is not balanced and is
extremely compicated to administer. In a similar process to that of
the Assembly which took place in New Zealand, STV was rejected in
favour of MMP which was chosen by 70% of voters. In B.C. as well
some 70% of submissions have favoured MMP. Here is your chance to
forever change the political landscape in our beloved province by
clearly selecting MMP for the referendum question.
