Citizens' Assembly Member Profile

BROOKE BANNISTER, of Richmond, is 57 and retired on disability (with post-polio syndrome). He was a copywriter and partner for The Marketing Den advertising agency in Saskatoon and came to B.C. 10 years ago to "get away from bitterly cold winters."  He's a huge sports fan and movie buff.  He is also, he adds, a political enthusiast. "Being on the Assembly is the chance of a lifetime."  He's married to federal civil servant, Penny Anderson, who has two daughters.
