Bill Jackson
BILL JACKSON says working on the Assembly is "a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be involved in the democratic
process without being involved in partisan politics." He is a
prosecutor in Dawson Creek, teaches criminology and is a bencher on
the Law Society of B.C. Born in Regina, Bill has lived in B.C. 12
years, is married and has three children – two in
college and one in high school. He is a founding member of Peace
Energy Cooperative, a new organization attempting to set up a
wind-generating energy system. He is also a member of the Violence
Against Women in Relationships committee. And Bill is a
member of the Community Resource Network which deals with elder
abuse. As for hobbies, Bill says he used to golf "before I became a
bencher." "I used to read and play chess too."
