Citizens' Assembly Member Profile

VICKIE GOWING, a resident of Ymir, south of Nelson, is a stay-at-home mom who previously ran her own restaurant. She has two children, ages seven and 10. Vickie was born in Nelson and has lived in B.C. her entire life. During her free time, Vickie loves to ride her motorcycle. She also enjoys horseback riding and acting. She sees the Assembly as a learning experience and hopes to help set up an electoral system that will be "whatever the people want."
