BARBARA KOHNE is now retired from her job as a sales coordinator
for a Vancouver printing firm. She has been married for 45 years,
has three grown children and four grandchildren. Barbara has lived
in B.C. all her life and now resides in East Sooke where she was
president of the now-defunct Rural Association of East Sooke. She
enjoys gardening, the arts and reading on socio-economic issues.
"It's extremely important for people to be involved in their
community and province," Barbara says. "Electoral reform is
something to be looked at by citizens, not politicians.
