Citizens' Assembly Member Profile

WENDY GONSALVES was born in London, England and has lived in B.C. since 1981. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a BA in Psychology and English. She worked in Social Work for many years and then studied horticulture at Olds College for two years before opening her own garden centre. She has worked most of her life in many different capacities. Wendy loves to travel, just recently retired and enjoys having the time to spend with her four grandchildren. In speaking of the Assembly, Wendy says, "It's a super opportunity to ensure that all are aware of their voting rights and privileges and that each individual's vote counts." Wendy is a member of the Westbank Rotary Club, the Central Okanagan Naturalists Club and the Kelowna Garden Club.
