Citizens' Assembly Member Profile

SANDRA HART lived in Terrace when she was selected to the Assembly, but has recently moved to Kamloops.  Born in Montreal, she has lived in B.C. 14 years. "I am interested in politics and I'm wondering if we can have a more democratic system so that electoral seats are distributed on popular vote," she says. Sandra is now retired. She was an elementary school teacher, researcher, settlement counsellor and program coordinator. She has four daughters and six grandchildren.
