Citizens' Assembly Member Profile

KEN NIELSEN says that after Al Gore won the popular vote but lost the last U.S. election, he became concerned about electoral processes. "We have a chance to address these ahead of time," says Ken of the work of the Citizens’ Assembly. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Ken has lived in B.C. for 32 years. He lives in Vancouver and owns Dream Merchants of Whistler, a furniture and design shop. He is a member of the Retail Merchants Association of B.C., a member of the B.C. Eh! Billiards League and a member of the Whistler Merchants Association. Ken enjoys billiards, running marathons, playing and coaching baseball, golf, racquetball, as well as filming and writing screen plays.
