Jack MacDonald
JACK MacDONALD retired 1-1/2 years ago from his post as
assistant deputy minister in the B.C. Ministry of Advanced
Education and is currently doing some consulting work. "With my
whole working life in the federal or provincial government I have a
deep interest in government and history," says Jack. "The Assembly
is a unique experiment and an opportunity to learn more and share
with folks around the province. Then, if it comes to something,
that’s all the more interesting." Jack was born in
Victoria and lives there now. But he lived in Ottawa for 12 years,
as well as three years in the U.S. He moved back to B.C. in 1985.
Jack enjoys golfing, travelling, reading, painting and drawing.
