BETTY WALTERS is a retired registered nurse who lives in Port
Coquitlam. “Youth is totally turned off so
I hope we can find a way to get youth involved in
voting,” she says of the Assembly’s
work. Born in New Liskeard, Ontario, Betty has lived in
B.C. for 9-1/2 years. She is married, has two children,
four stepchildren and nine grandchildren. Betty enjoys
gardening, reading, working out at the gym and yoga classes.
