Citizens' Assembly Member Profile

SHARON AROLA was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario and has lived in B.C. since 1973. She is a widow with three grown children and is now retired from her position as government agent for Sparwood and Fernie. Sharon, who lives in Sparwood, is on the board of the Sparwood Futures Society, an organization which focuses on community improvements, such as building a community campground and organizing programs for seniors. She is also on the board of the Lilac Terrace, a new assisted living seniors' complex.
