Citizens' Assembly Member Profile

JOHN STINSON is now retired from the RCMP. He was involved in community policing throughout the province, rising to the rank of staff sergeant major. Prior to 1950, he was a member of the B.C. Provincial Police force and before that he was with the Canadian Air Force. John was born in Vancouver and have lived in B.C. all his life. Today he is a member of the RCMP Veterans' Association and the Penticton Golf and Country Club. Aside from golfing, John enjoys skiing and gardening. "I'm extremely loyal to B.C. and will do what I can to improve our electoral system," he says
