I would like to register my support for a modified proportional
representation scheme such as was widely researched and adopted in
New Zealand. This procedure has the attributes of simplicity,
guarantees a parliament that is representative of the general
popular vote, and avoids the problems that have occurred in places
like Israel and Italy (the pizza parliament). The fact that this
plan was so thoroughly researched by the New Zealand government
also speaks to its credibility.
Good luck in your deliberations.
