I thank you for doing the research on Electoral Reform. Myself
as well as many of the people I know are discouraged about voting.
The election news on the radio bores us. The mainstream politicians
rarely represent my political views. I favour a mixed member
proportional [MMP] system like the one in New Zealand.
Then my vote might have an influence in the way the government is
formed. I think that in general it would decrease voter apathy.
The parliamentary sessions seem to the public like noisy
rhetoric bantering. Hopefully coalition governments would help
parliament to weave ideas into meaningful legislation,
