I would like to state my preference for MMP and hope that you,
the Citizens' Assembly, will come forward with what the majority of
the participants have expressed, namely MMP, as the desired voting
system. [1 page]

Although I have sent you my thoughts before I am writing you
again in reaction to the latest development in the process of the
Citizens' Assembly, namely the last round of presentations by 9
chosen people. I am concerned about the fact that there are an
equal number who address the mixed proportional representation
[MMP] system as there are to address the single
transferable vote [STV] system, while over 70% has
expressed preference for the mixed proportional representation
voting system and only about 4% who prefer the single transferable
vote system. As well I regret the fact that there are only 2 women
under those 9 presenters.
So I would like to state my preference for the mixed
proportional representation and hope that you, the citizens
assembly, will come forward with what the majority of the
participants have expressed, namely mixed proportional
representation, as the desired voting system.
Thank you for your good work.
