Submission Content
I support electoral reform in British Columbia. I believe the current system is denies effective democracy, resulting in a large unrepresented populace with the additional effect of low voter turn-out and disenfranchised people.

I urge the Citizens' Assembly to recommend the "Mixed Member Proportional" [MMP] system. I believe that this system would result in superior political representation of BC people, allowing smaller parties to have seats in the legislature. It would increase voter turn-out because people would feel their votes count and their views are represented.

Thank you very much for your hard work.
