My support of a Mixed Member Proportional [MMP] voting system is based on my belief that all people need a voice in how our provincial affairs are governed, even though it will likely mean that our ridings are slightly larger, [1 page]

In an ideal society, we would all participate in government by taking responsibility for the common good. There would be no need for central governments because everyone would be taking care of everyone else, to the best of their varied abilities.

We do not, however, live in an ideal society and, therefore, must depend upon others to administer on our behalf, but at the very least, we ought to be able to have a voice in who those "others" are.

What we desire to gain is fair representation of our political viewpoints with our party votes.
