In order that we may have a fair, and truly representative voting system in this province, I am urging the Citizen's Assembly to seriously consider and recommend a Mixed Member Porportional [MMP] voting system. I am aware that with this system the ridings themselves may be larger, but I consider that, since each citizen's vote would have greater weight, thus involving all of us in the process more effectively, riding size is not a real barrier to making the necessary change to MMP.

Our system need to be more truly representative of our citizens; the STV system is far too complex and, ultimately, unfair to the voting public. In order to have confidence in our government, we have to feel truly represented by those we elect. Let's make the system one that we can more fully participate in, as we should in a real democracy. Let's make the move to MMP.
