Abstract
It is the party system that is at fault with modern day elections.  The party controls who will be our representatives and how they will vote.  We need MLAs to represent our concerns and work for the good of BC. [1 page]

Submission Content
Although MMP appears to be the preference of many submissions I believe they have not fully thought it though.  It is the party system that is at fault with modern day elections.  The party controls who will be our representatives and how they will vote.  Legislation is only presented as per party ideology not the needs of the people. We must eliminate party politics from our modern society.

I would submit that a system of consensus government in which we would vote for a qualified person in our district to represent our concerns and work for the good of the people of British Columbia (and or Canada) would be in the best interest of the Province.  I would also limit the number of terms any one person could be in the Legislature (2 terms) so that we would not have career politicians.
