  • The road may be rough at first but good things don’t come easy.
  • Make your politicians work for you with the Electronic Democracy.
How would Electronic Democracy and the Voting Card work for you?

Like many of you Out there like myself I feel that our present democratic system is failing us. I hope what I present here is the cure for the illness. Let me make an example of how effective the voting card could be. If you had known that some politician had made a law that that disallowed you to be remembered for poor workmanship on your condo or home would you have voted for passing that law? I would like to think the response would have been of a negative nature I hope the Voting Card will be that answer.

There are many Issues that confront us presently that need to addressed and prioritized. For example would Health care or Housing be your number one priority, or It could be Education or Employment.  With the Voting Card you will determine what you feel are the important issues and rate them accordingly.  Next Would be the voting on the issues once they had been prioritized if the Public; Business arid Special Interest groups can’t agree of the issue, then you the Pubic can say with the Voting Card, get it right before we the people pass the legislation into Law. In order to pass the legislation that is being voted on the percentage of votes needed could be set at a high standard of 85% of yes votes needed to pass into Law.

For groups to be heard you would need 15% of your electoral area to be recognized of your groups concerns to be put to the people. If for example that 50% of the voters agree with the idea then your politicians would start writing the legislation that will satisfy an 85% yes vote. Then it would become a Law passed by the PEOPLE ELECTRONICALLY.

Then there is the issue of rating our politicians or Elected Representatives. Business has to have quarterly and yearly reports so Why not our Politicians? Every 3 months you get to vote on your Politicians’ performance.. More than 3 quarterly poor ratings in a years term below a 25% vote would be grounds fur expulsion and a new representative voted in by you with the ELECTRONIC DEMOCRACY.

The Idea sounds simple but can be very effective. I would like to think that this is the foundation that an ELECTRONIC DEMOCRACY can be built on. The Voting Card will put all of us In the driver’s seat. It can be your Democracy If you want it or we can just go down the path we are going and end up…..?  As we go into the future may this take us there with Hope and a Feeling that we can give our children a better world ELECTRONICALLY.  It can be YOUR DEMOCRACY if you want it ELECTRONICALLY.
