Abstract
There should be multiple choices on the ballot so we don't have a government with only about 30% of the votes but more seats than the opposition as in 1996, and it would be better to have representation by area instead of population. [1 page]

Submission Content
We desperately need a change in our voting procedures and standards. For one, there should be multiple choices on the card so we don't have a government with only about 30% of the votes but more seats than the opposition even though the opposition had more votes, as in BC in 1996.

Also there are other factors like prisoners' right to vote. They have lost that right on incarceration!

There do not need to be so many seats for heavily populated areas. It would be better to have representation by area instead of population, and would save dollars overall. BC only needs about 25 - 30 seats instead of more than 50.

These are my main issues and welcome others that make common sense.

Keep up the good work!
