The BC Government is not central.  It is bad enough that we in BC are isolated from the Federal Government -- they seem to think Winnipeg is West --  but we are also isolated from our Provincial Government.

In order to really feel and understand the backbone of the province, the government should relocate to Prince George.  After all, it is the north from which the generous royalties and taxes are derived from, oil and timber.

We are dying up here, no work, the various program cutbacks have hurt us severely.  Their eyes would be a little more open if they saw how many homes are for sale or boarded up.  People are just walking away from a lifetime of work.  I have seen independent people lose everything, which includes their pride.  The system is hard and demeaning.

I shall forward this letter to friends and family who reside in various remote parts of BC, and encourage them to write also.
