I feel that we really need election reform in the
form of Proportional Representation [PR]. I feel disenfranchized by
our current system. I am starting to lose interest in voting. My
vote never goes anywhere in our current system. The candidate or
party I vote for never wins. Therefore, I do not feel represented
by our government.
Proportional Representation
[MMP] could give me the 2 votes I really want. 1 for my
local candidate who would best represent me and 1 for the party
which best reflects my values. In this system I would feel
represented by my government.
Please save our democracy and recommend a
Proportional Representation electoral system.
